Hi Daniel,

Thank you for a well presented argument confirming a Muslim trend away from Islam radicalism. My question is, 'do such polls include the female populations? or are they, by virtue of their misrepresentation automatically excluded from such statistical evidence??'

It never ceases to amaze me that given any demonstration or violent behaviour on the part of Islamic groups, it is hard to find a woman amongst them. Another question that often comes to mind is the fact that there appears to be a very large proportion of young Muslim men who have nothing better to do than to find reasons to fight and destroy. Do these men have little or no prospect for jobs or marriage, so that their focus can be directed away from violence and toward peaceful settled family life? When one considers the regular kneeling and bending at the knees and waist giving homage to Allah, a cultural slavish habit, that only men indulge in, gives some idea as to the wide gulf between Muslim men and women which is almost impossible to bridge. Look at what happened in Iran when the Shah was removed. Women lost most of their hard-earned freedoms. It becomes obvious as to who calls the tune and who dances to it.

Separation of the sexes to such an extreme causes perversions that Muslim men are well known for and that is why this so-called respect for women that they claim to have, often ends up in orgies of rape and murder if they are given half the chance. This applies equally in western countries where Muslims reside and where they proportionally represent the largest number of criminals, despite the Western Justice system's all out attempts to sweep the whole abominable situation under the carpet.

Emanuel.

Read up on Pew's methodology at the linked-to URL; yes, of course the poll includes females.
