Contrary to what is suggested in this article, it is a completely normal practice for the children of refugees to be categorized as refugees themselves, as long as they have not acquired the citizenship of another state.

So long as they are minors, yes. But that ends with majority. And the refugee status never applies to grandchildren and beyond, except for Palestinians.
