Microscopic Islamization in Turkey (which quickly adds up to become macroscopic)

Reader comment on item: Mosque in Cordoba, Church in Damascus

Dear Dr Pipes:

Islamization in Turkey has been a popular topic on this forum. Related to that topic is the above article where you discuss the phonomenon that "Muslims turn the buildings of other religions into their mosques (think Hagia Sophia) but don't mess with a former mosque". Your readership will like to read the following report about an ancient byzantine monastry being converted to a Mosque in Turkey: http://www.panarmenian.net/eng/news/173168/.

Islamic hypocrisy (or self justification) knows no bounds but should we expect that smaller than 2% minority christian population in Turkey resorts to suicide bombing, murders, and mayhem in opposition to this proposal. Symmetry dictates that they should; wisdom dictates that they would not. And between these two extremes, Islamists are winning in every corner of our planet.
