I suppose many of those who listed Islamist Terrorism as being low on the list know what the party line is and feel uncomfortable entertaining certain thoughts and even more uncomfortable at speaking out. If Obama were to speak directly against Islamic Terror the numbers would go way up, not because they would learn about the threat for the first time but because an Obama speech would allow them to talk about it.

Not that such a speech is imminent.
