Reader comment on item: Atiq Malik, British Politician, Calls for Stoning Adulterous Muslim Women
in response to reader comment: Sharia Laws:

Submitted by Matthew Roberts (United Kingdom), Apr 9, 2013 at 05:21

So Atiq, you believe passionately in Western values such as democracy and freedom of speech when they suit your purposes. Other western values such as it not being OK to stone people to death can be dismissed at a time and in a place of your choosing.

Your twisting and turning is the act of a scoundrel. On the one hand you tell us that Sharia law is the immutable word of god, which must be obeyed always; on the other you pretend it is OK for UK laws to override Sharia. Come on, be honest. If you had the power to impose Sharia law on the UK today, what would you do?

We all know what you would do. You would allow women to be stoned to death, and you would allow them to be 'convicted' based on evidence that would be laughed out of an English Law court. And that is why you should not be allowed anywhere near any form of power. The only thing that depresses me more than your views are that quite a few people must have voted for you.
