The things need to be looked in totality

There is nothing great or bad about Americans delivering four F-16 fighter jets to Egypt. Since the times when humans developed organizations and institutions there is always a cost associated with each transactions.

Nobody should believe that there are better options than Mr. Morsi in Egypt. The revolutions took place against misrule, authoritarianism and despotism and not necessarily to bring genuine democracies in the Middle East. Right is natural inclination of political Islam and its inclination with Left in economic matters make things worse for the West.

Mr. Morsi, if the US insists on keeping good relations with Israel, would always put a bill. Conflicting consciousness is very dangerous for the humanity and the US needs to keep the temperature down somehow. The fact is that Egyptian military cannot win a war against Israel. Adding to its security help it contain the phobia about Israel.
