Debating Kevin Barrett

Reader comment on item: Debating Press TV - And Much More

Submitted by Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi (United Kingdom), Jan 6, 2013 at 12:26

Dr. Pipes,

You mention in the debate Muslim immigration to the United States. Since Kevin Barrett is a convert to Islam, you could equally have asked him why he bothers to remain in the U.S. if it is such a horrible place for Muslims, and why he is allowed to speak to Press TV from the U.S. if there is an active campaign to suppress 'the truth'.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Excellent debating point. And why does he not decamp to Iran?
