Well I know he drinks alcohol because we went out to dinner last week and he had a drink with his meal. He says he hasnt been to a mosque since he moved here. He was very well educated in Moracco and France (havent seen diplomas but he's very smart so I tend to believe him) and I think a little more liberal that a lot of what I've heard about other Muslim men on here. He has plans to earn a degree in the States to make a better living. He was married to a woman in France for 6 years and they're divorced. He does speak to his family every day over the phone and has been back once to visit in the three years he's lived here. The only warning sign I've seen is that he did ask about my salary. Its not that great so he's not after my money. I'll ask about the family dynamic & religious practices on our next date. Thanks for the feedback.
