First of all, the idea that Islam conquered by terrorism and intimidation is a myth, you will find most historians will refute this, yes there have been some dark periods in our history where some of the Ummayad and Fatimid rulers have used un-islamic means to rule..

And to be honest with you, if you look back at history and see all the groups that have tried to use terror to further there causes, they have failed, and if any group now used terror as a means to acheive there goals they too will fail, Islam and Muslims are working to convert people, and if you look how many people are converting to Islam now, please tell me how many are being put to the sword and being made to convert today ?? please tell me how many armies went into Malaysia to convert people, which carries one of the largest muslim population, i think the answer to that is none....
