Profiling - limitationsReader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters Submitted by Michael C [uk] (United Kingdom), Jan 18, 2005 at 15:52 We should be aware that there are pockets of disillusioned people of potentially all ethnic backgrounds [but mostly educated white caucasians] who sympathise with the radical islamic cause because it represents, in their eyes, the antidote to western capitalism/globalisation/hegemony etc etc that fits with their unfortunate view of life. It would be premature to say whether or not these people would act.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
