Dilemma?Reader comment on item: Radical Islam's Hypocrisy[: The Ehrgott & Okashah Cases] Submitted by Michael C [uk] (United Kingdom), Jan 18, 2005 at 15:42 Dilemma?Western democracies are between a rock and a hard place; if they come down too hard on the Muslim minorities in their countries, they face radicalising otherwise non-violent and modernist muslims, if too soft [as in the UK and possibly Nevada?], they allow hardline attitudes to take hold and spread. There seems to be a constant stream of expulsions from France of clerics who preach violence. Maybe that's the right way. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
