Dilemma?

Western democracies are between a rock and a hard place; if they come down too hard on the Muslim minorities in their countries, they face radicalising otherwise non-violent and modernist muslims, if too soft [as in the UK and possibly Nevada?], they allow hardline attitudes to take hold and spread. There seems to be a constant stream of expulsions from France of clerics who preach violence. Maybe that's the right way.
