Reader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters

Remember Barbara, we prosecute actions in this country, not thoughts or beliefs.In addition, do not forget that there are many in this country who would prefer a more theocratic government in the US - some want it to be Christian-based, others Jewish-based, and still others Islam-based. Do we label all of those people traitors and try them for treason?
No - unless they take actions based on those beliefs that violate laws.
