Reader comment on item: Islam in Obama's Cairo Speech

You are looking for a Muslim devil in Obama's speech but will not find it.Obama made it clear to his muslim audience that while the US opens its hand out to well-intended muslims, that we will not tolerate terrorism or anti-zionism. Far from being anti-humanistic or anti-american, it is a well thought out speech.and daring! What President had made such a speech to a foreign muslim crowd?

I am proud that he gave such a talk. I wonder if some of those students were inspired enough to join in the Egyptian protests 2 years later? They want what we enjoy, freedom.

Obama's critics on the right do not have any conclusive proof of any of their wilder accusations against the president..they keep whining about birth certificates when the president has already served 3 years and submitted more than enough documentation (!) please stop, there are more vital issues at stake! jobs! healthcare!

No one has uncovered any evidence of his anti-semitism, but because Obama's dad was a muslim, some intolerant bigots have decided to accuse him of anti-semitism anyway.republicans are associated with racists on the right, it is inevitable that obama will have a friend or two with the same problems.

oddly enough, left wing Israeli politicians can say things that most US politicians would never dare to say..could it be that the opinion is skewed one way in the US?

Again Obama's dad was a muslim. of course he considers a part of himself muslim but that doesn't make him a subversive, just like being a moderate muslim doesn't make you a terrorist or terrorist sympathizer.for some people its just part of their life, like a Jew who lights menora candles.

And if you think that Obama is some kind of pro-arab socialist, try asking arabs and socialists..they dont think he is fulfilling their agenda particularly well.
