And What Exactly Did the Sanhedrin Send Jesus to Pilate For? An Admission!

in response to reader comment: Jesus is not lord by his own admission

When the Baptist John was in prison, he sent messengers to verify what he preached on the Jordan: that Yeshua was the Son of Almighty God; then baptized Him in order to fulfill the prophecies. He did not make His proclamation of His deity known to everyone; His was a mission to get everyone to recognize Him by His fulfillment of Scripture. Some did; some did not.

It is that way today. Some, like me, recognizing that His fulfillment of Scripture is spiritually manifested in so many ways, believe. Others, and I hope I am not being too presumptuous in using your own admissions that you do not believe, choose to believe instead the fictions started by the Chief Rulers that had Yeshua condemned. There is irony in that you would use the fabrications of the Jewish rulers of the time to base your conclusions on instead of reading the witnesses who lived and breathed with Yeshua and watched Him die for our sins.

In Yeshua's own word, He makes the declaration that He and His Father are one. I'll take His word over any other, because He has proved Himself to me in terms sufficient enough to show He was the whole world in His hands.

You have NOT showed me that Jesus said He is not God-what you have said is that you do not accept His own words that HE IS GOD. So be it-let the record show.

As for looking at the Promised Land in a humanly way, there's enough of that to go around: the U. N. does it; the 'Palestinians do it;' the America Chief Executive is doing it; essentially most of the non-believing world is doing it, just exactly as Yeshua said they would. That's evidence enough for me.

And a final note: you have not recognized who Yeshua really is, so you have not recognized that the Torah is the WORD of the LORD as it has been fulfilled; and the effects of the law are extinguished by Yeshua's words of grace. I have to break it to you, only Yeshua HaMashiach, the 'Savior Anointed,' can bring the grace you apparently do not want any part of. If you do not accept His grace, then see what is said about the vengeance-not mine-but the LORD's.
