Saudis must change their principles

I am Ardian, from Indonesia. I am Catholic. i really don't like the Saudis because the country is a religious country. In my opinion, a religious country is never good and successful. When they use one religion as the basic principles of the state, it will ban the freedom of other religions and the freedom of another things which have no relation to religon. That's very bad.
The Saudis should change their basic principles from religion to secular values. Western countries have proved that secular values can make a country better and more advanced. I don't mean to say to leave religious principles, but you must separate religion from the government.
