Perversion of the chanin of command. Abdo tries to build an American Hiz'b'allah

A conscientious objector is someone who objects to killing his fellow man in any circumstance and therefore cannot go to war. Abdo is saying he can't kill some people but he can kill others. He is NOT a conscientious objector and all pressure must be brought to bear on the army to reverse its position and grant instead a dishonorable discharge and court-marital for insubordination if insubordination applies.

Please tell us the means to begin such an act, Dr. Pipes. The perversion of such ideas like "conscientious objector" is the way in which tyranny grabs hold and doesn't let go. There cannot be one standard for conscientious objector for some and a different one for others.

Unnoticed is the perversion of the change of command structure. The chain of command comes from the people who elect a president to be commander in chief. From him the chain of command leads down through the ranks to the lowliest private. Either the chain of command goes from the army upward to suppress the people or the army is the executor of the peoples' will. So it's worse than that. Abdo and his ilk are taking the first step toward making the armed forces an independent political power - as in so many countries where the biggest gun is the law. The only difference between Abdo and Musharraf is rank.
