Untying the Knot of Lebanon's Predicament with Syrian Complications

Reader comment on item: Lebanon, Stuck between Israel and Syria

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 15, 2011 at 11:37

As the moment approaches when the world participants of the next incursion into Israeli sovereignty, we hear the shouts of those ready to fall prey to the lie that Israel must capitulate in order for peace in the region to reign. The delusion is nearing its completion; those who are about to die salute each other in unison chanting of how noble their cause (read 'death to Israel') as the assenting members of the world gallery look on, readying themselves as well for the outcome they will never get to see.

As for the assertion that Turkey is the one to watch, and not Lebanon, there is much to validate that considering the broader alliances that will be able to formulate with Turkey. Lebanon can do nothing of its own; that if anything does come forth from Lebanon, it is because the insurgent powers that form the teeth of the ravaging mentality hidden in Lebanon will use that nation's proximity to Israel to promote its enmity against the Jewish state, pretty much like a doormat.

(The insidious nature of what is about to befall the Middle East actually revealed a little of itself in the accompanying photograph to Dr. Pipes article: changing the uniform and picturing the background as 1939 Brandenburg would not be too hard to do. But this is only a front.)

As mentioned, the next moment of crisis is about to breach the beach, so to speak, of the next series of events that will hold catastrophic consequences for those who continue to think that Israel will be used to further a world cause for peace. Lebanon, even Syria, whether Bashar is there or not, are pawn functionaries in a greater scheme about to be perpetrated. It is behind the scenes of projected power (a screen of illusion/delusion, if you will) that one needs to look to be able to prepare for what is going to happen next.

A piece of advice: pray for the peace of Jerusalem; Baruch HaShem Adonai.
