What's the Goal in Libya?

I AGREE WITH YOU 100% IN FIRST PARAGRAPH. BUT I DISAGREE WITH YOU IN DIVIDING LIBYA.

AMERICA AND WESTERN POWERS WITH THEIR MIGHT AND THE ISOLATION GADDAFI IS FACING COULD DIPLOMATICALLY GET HIM INTO DOING ANYTHING THEY WANT FOR THEMSELVES - THE OIL AND THE DEMOCRATIC REFORMS. GADDAFI HAS SHOWN THESE TRAITS WITH BUSH ADMINISTRATION IN SURRENDERING HIS WEAPONS. WHY AMERICA AND WEST ESPECIALLY FRANCE AND BRITAIN INVOLVED THEMSELVES/TAKING SIDE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY'S CIVIL WAR IN DISGUISE OF PROTECTING CIVILIAN UNDER THE COVER OF UNITED NATION IS ANOTHER QUESTION THAT ONLY TIME AND HISTORY WILL ANSWER AND JUDGE. THE BIG QUESTION IS THAT THEY SHOULD EXPLAIN TO THE WORLD HOW ANY LEADER/COUNTRY SHOULD CONTAIN ARMED REBELLION IN DISGUISE OF PROTEST LIKE THAT OF LIBYA. UNITED NATION HAVE NOT EXHAUSTED ALL AVENUE BEFORE ADOPTING MILITARY ACTION AGAINST GADDAFI AND NOW ICJ PROSECUTER IS MESSING UP WITH ANOTHER "CURVEBALL" UNFOUNDED AND DOUBTFUL ALLEGATION AGAINST GADDAFI.

WHY MOST PEOPLE IN THE SO CALLED DEMOCRATIC THIRD WORLD COULD NOT UNDERSTAND AND JUSTIFY AMERICA AND WESTERN ACTION IS THAT WE SEE LIBYA AND LIBYANS AS FAR BETTER OFF UNDER DICTATORSHIP AND WE ENVY THEIR WELFARE AND STANDARDS.

THANKS Mr. PIPES
