Would Not bin Laden's Life Have Been Better Served by His Seeking Peace?

Reader comment on item: Osama bin Laden "a Visionary": Muslim American Society
in response to reader comment: Martyr Osama

There is a sadness that is an underlying truth in this exchange; for indeed the Islamists are truly poised to be part of the world upheaval arriving before any will ever expect. "Like it or not, Islam is posed for an upheaval across the globe." From a Hebrew Biblical perspective, this is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, very few will be able to live with the implications of that time.

As Biblical prophecy explodes in fulfillment, the conflicts amongst the 'Christian,' Muslim and other belief systems in the world are on a collision course, the results of which are expected to probably provide a certain satisfaction to anyone who holds to the expectations of the al-Madhi coming forth and bringing an Islamic calm (peace would be an unfortunate use of the word here-hence a better term would be hudna).

If, as most true believing disciples of Yeshua HaMashiach believe of the timing as espoused by the Savior that this current generation is the one as prophesied at the Temple Mount, then there may be a chance he gets his wish to be there when it happens, but one that this reader would not wish on a dog. On the other hand, this reader does not have any expectation of being there, also as prophesied by Yeshua HaMashiach.

Now, even as the anti-American enmity of the reader from the KSA is not very well concealed, he does have a point. America, if it does not get its spiritual act together, is going to have to return to its founding Biblical roots or find itself facing its own self inflicted judgment, not specifically at the hands of Islam, but as joint recipients with Islam of a failure to honor the Truth of the Hebrew Holy Bible. The set-up for that is already in place, as scripturally promised.

There should be no surprise that Osama bin Laden has his followers still willing to kill and die for the cause. Would it not have been better if he had embraced the words of Yeshua HaMashiach to search out the love of the Savior when he had that chance in the 7th century? Were Islam truly an ideology worth dying for, would it not have been better to accept the substitutionary death of Yeshua HaMashiach on the cross for each of humanity's sins and not die as Osama bin Laden?

This is the question today, to examine the honor of death for those Muslims who dared to accept salvation in eternal love by believing in Yeshua HaMashiach and paid the ultimate price exacted by Islam; or was Osama bin Laden's death more honorable for his legacy of death? What should the real dream be: giving a life for believing in Yeshua HaMashiach or taking that same life because of bin Laden's belief? That answer, as required in the Hebrew Holy Bible, is provided by Yeshua Himself: (Jochanan 16:31-33) Yeshua answered them, "Do you now believe? Behold: the hour comes, yea, is now come, that you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I (Yeshua) have overcome the world."
