The spread of democracyReader comment on item: Has America Learned from 9/11? Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Nov 9, 2004 at 04:58 Dear Prof Pipes,Regarding the spreading of democracy worldwide and curbing terrorism, I have my own doubts about the American complete sincerity as evidenced by USA's support of a dictatorial Islamic Pakistan vis-a-vis a secular democratic India. I am not impressed by such pious intentions. Regards, sincerely, S.C.Panda Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
