Reader comment on item: Germany's Freiheit Party Joins the Fray

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Nov 2, 2010 at 09:00

It is very exciting to envision a new political party that supports Israel, emerging in Europe, particularly in Germany. This party needs to move forward and convince people of the threat of Islamization rather than banning Islam outright. Banning any religion will never do, but making people aware that Islam is also a political ideology may just do the trick. As Dr. Pipes put it, if the Freiheit party is truly "mainstream" then it may stand a chance to succeed.
