A remarkable lecture by Dr Pipes.

My fear is that, in the UK, in the wake of the Wednesday's Spending Review, that Islamic Charities will move in,as in Lebanon and Gaza, to fill the gaps left by cutbacks in public expenditure.

Conservative ideology and islamism might well find a common ground with the latter being able to 'work the system' with increasing success. This is already happening within the British political and academic establishments.
