What's Holding Us Back?

Reader comment on item: Immanuel Kant vs. Israel

Submitted by Kim Bruce (Canada), Aug 17, 2010 at 17:20

Just imagine the marvels the future will hold if we can all shuffle our religious and political differences under the carpet and learn to get along with one another.

Our prejudices get in the way of development in the spirit of cooperation.

Man's inability to think on a universal mind is the only thing holding rein the human race from going to the stars, living long and disease free lives, irradicating plagues, famine and overpopulation, sun and ocean- spawned global warming, damaging phone calls from the sun, new technological devices that would create a world of conveniences only dreamt of in science ficiton.

I could have included the Seven Deadly sins but I will leave that to other's imaginings.
