It is precisely because of what America is and what we as people are that we DON'T hate you. In a sense, our country was founded on and by all the "hated" folks who came here. Being human, we might be tempted to hate at times. But that "goes against" our proverbial "grain." Apart from the USSR (now defunct), I didn't grow up believing any other country was bad, evil, stupid, or anything wholly negative. That way of thinking would have engendered the antithesis of what this country was founded on and is.
So, I thank YOU, sir, for your wisdom in seeing the obvious, and for having the courage to say so.
