Marriage?Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Worried (United Kingdom), Jul 30, 2010 at 12:51 If i were to marry a egyptian man, and after he divorced me, would he be entitled to half my possesions, money property etc? I am from the uk, he is in dubai?? I am just trying to get as much info as i can. I asked the question before here about if it was legit to marry in dubai, i am not a resident, he is egyptian and works there. Somebody replyed that we could only marry in cairo, for it to be legit? He is saying that we can marry in the egyptian embassy in dubai? I dont know? I live in the uk, i thought i would have to be a resident of the country, ie ( working there)?? He has a good job there, and i dont think its about visa, thats why i am asking about where i stand if we divorced, could he be entitled to half my stuff? is he after my money? All replys welcome thankyou all xx Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
