Unhappy...

I myself and am American woman, married to a Muslim man. I have a question...I was married in a Mosque but was not married in a catholic church and never did or said anything at my wedding....so I'm wondering if my marriage is legal and valid? I am hoping that I have an a legal way out of this "enslavement"
