IS it normal for two turkish men to call eacher other gulum(my rose)

My husbands friend came from turkey and and I get the weirdest vibe that they are sexually involved. My husband bosses him around and he listens. I don't know what they are saying bc it is in turkish but I do know they call each other gulum which means my rose?? that is just weird. My husband does not seem gay but his friend defininitely does. I've asked him why he does not speak in english and he won;t do it. I've never been so unhappy in a relationship Im thinking about filing for a divorce? please help
