Reader comment on item: Think Tanks as the Hidden Hand

Submitted by Kiel Hesselmann (Denmark), Jun 2, 2010 at 17:51

In one way or another Muslims tend to attributing their own traits or attitudes to all others (including other Muslim sects). It's the definition of the psychological term projection. Their anger and their innermost urge to bend the world to their own misconceptions are legio. In their futility they try to force their will upon the surroundings. But the surroundings seldom give in. As modern Western (and Eastern) psychology says about mans hope for survival: Know thyself and be wise. Flow with the waves - the ups and downs, but do not misintrepret your neighbor. The Buddhists and the Hindus put is this way: The "I" you are so proud of causes you much pain. If you cannot get rid of the "I" - and for sure most cannot - then at least diminish it - for your own good. - There's a long way to go for the majority of Muslims.
