Profiling is a constitutional defense of freedomReader comment on item: To Profile or Not to Profile? Submitted by Alvin Samuels (United States), Sep 26, 2004 at 03:40 Pipes is correct in citing the need to profile Islamic citizens. The vast majority have refused to condem acts of terrorism implying their consent. A free government is constitutionally required to protect its citizens. Sufficient controls exist to prevent abuse.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
