Dr. Pipes,

In your supporting someone like Ephraim Karsh are you not going against some of the famous western historian like Bernard Lewis who once criticized this Ephraim Karsh , heavily ?

If you are referring to their difference of views on the role of outside powers in Middle East history, I have reviewed Karsh's book and endorsed his revisionist view on this topic. Karsh's original research convinced me.
