Submitted by Caleb (United States), Apr 23, 2010 at 19:23 If you place Moses 3000 years before Mohammed, then rabbinic Judaism got started 2500 years after Moses, with the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE, and around 3000 years after the Patriarchs, assuming they really existed. Considering all the places Jews have lived since the Babylonian exile, the forcible conversions **to** the Mosaic faith in the Hasmonean period, the semitic Arabs are just as likely, or unlikely, to be Abraham's lineal descendants as are the Jews of today.
