Moslem vs Muslim

Reader comment on item: Aztecs, Moors, and Christians: Festivals of Reconquest in Mexico and Spain
in response to reader comment: Whats the difference between Moslem and Muslin

Submitted by Masai El (age-16) (United States), Feb 5, 2010 at 22:57

The difference in the etymological definition is... none. Moslem comes from a hebrew origin broken down into Mos, which is Muscles. and Lim, which is Limbs, Muslim of a arabic origin in its language is broken down into mus. muscles, and lim, limbs, It has nothing to do with religion, it all is dealing with the people, and the anatomy of the people, we all have muscles and limbs, which breaks down into bones, tissue, organs, arteries ect.. therefore we are all Moslems and Muslims... The Muslim you were refering to is the Orthadox Suni Muslim which all has to do with a dogmatic belief System. PEACE
