'Militant' now means 'terrorist'Reader comment on item: [Beslan Atrocity:] They're Terrorists - Not Activists Submitted by Howard Pielet (United States), Sep 8, 2004 at 20:13 I used to worry about the press using 'militant' instead of 'terrorist'.But the public not being nearly as left-wing, stupid, or obtuse as the press, now understands the word 'militant' to mean 'terrorist', instead of its previous less violent meaning. I'm thinking that the problem of Militant Islam is based in an absolute lack of 'Hakoras Hatov' (recognizing the good someone has done for you). Is that a broader feature of Islam? Only that would explain how an Indiana-educated Saudi (as I recall) doctor could say that we somehow 'deserved' 911?
