i appreciate the clear language in your essays; I appreciate that they are well researched; I appreciate the blue-highlighted "click ons" you widely use to let us see your references......Thank you for including me on your email list.

Regarding Chechnya, it is widely reported that "militants'...."activists"....."separatists" .....whatever euphemism is used......are "fighting for their right to have their own Islamic republic".......BUT, it is my impression that Islamists are NOT the majority in Chechnya.......it is also my impression that there was some sort of voting not so long ago where the majority voted AGAINST an Islamic republic..........IF that is correct, why is it not widely reported that the majority do not wish to force their women to don tents when they leave their homes -- and the majority do not wish to have their children indoctrinated in the ideology of death. I would very much like to read an essay on that basic issue. Thank you.
