Terrorist Trials in Civilian Justice SystemReader comment on item: More on Maj. Hasan's Islamist Life Submitted by Howard Capito (United States), Feb 1, 2010 at 10:03 Dr. Pipes: In all the chatter and back and forth over the Obama Administration's intent to try the 9/11 conspirators under the civil criminal justice system, in New York City or elsewhere for that matter, no one has commented on the likely fate of those involved in the court proceedings: the jury and alternates, the Judge and supporting clerks, and the prosecution's team and witnesses. Do you think these people will be marked for life as have Wilders, Rushdie, et al? Think of all the Imans issuing fatwah's on all the trials' participants.
