Zella. You can't speak for everyone. Not all Muslim men and not certainly all of these men's views on women or there religion are the SAME.
First you say they are raised by powerless women. You are forgetting certain countries like say Morocco since it is discussed here frequently. Women in Morocco can and do work if they are the lucky ones to find a job. There are women who own their own pharmacies, women doctors, women who own shops, women who are assistant managers at Industrial businesses, workers in luxery hotels. I know these women personally! They lead very normal lives.
Also your statement the Muslim men can treat the "Infidels" the way they want and can lie or misuse you. No where in the Quran does it say to treat a person this way!! Infact it says to always treat your women good and do good for them as the Bible also teaches. A Christian woman is allowed in the Quran to marry a Muslim/ Islamic man. So you are saying the Quaran gives permission to marry us and then treat us like crap cause we are not Muslim? Where does it say in this Quran that a Christian woman MUST CONVERT?? Women of these other religions APPROVED mentioned in the QUARAN is an INFIDEL if not??? You are wrong too Zella about all these men religions. My husband takes his religion very seriously, just as faithful as the Christian believer! He treats me with the greatest respect and we do live in the USA together. He has his green card in hand and has monetary means to leave at any time. He choses not to travel back home without me. We visit every other year. Please refrain from talking about all these men like they are evil.

Also Zella, my husband's father always treated his daughters better than the two sons!! So your theory about men being treated better is not simply always the case. Try to refrain from posting based on opinions and not FACTS!!
