I am so sorry

Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

The reason I am so sorry is that I have seen so many, many times, Moroccan guys (young ones, especially) so anxious to get out of their country because there is no work. They are well educated, as Morocco pays for public college.
I have had so many online advances toward me, who is 49 years old, from 25-year-old Moroccan guys. They are looking for marriage to a U.S. citizen as a way to get out of their country. I'm sure there are the rare few who would ever stay with you. It's against Islamic law to use people like that, but perhaps there are those who don't really care about following the religious law.
I met my Moroccan guy (age 44) here in the U.S. He is very tolerant and open-minded to the ways of the U.S.
He divorced his wife, who he married in Morocco, in 2005. He lives here with his daughter, and they both have green cards.
I feel like he loves me, but sometimes I wonder if he has his marriage to his Muslim wife in mind, and that it will always be there--like I can't compare to her.
