Call them Mujihadeen instead of terroristsReader comment on item: [Beslan Atrocity:] They're Terrorists - Not Activists Submitted by Dennis (United States), Sep 8, 2004 at 09:16 Why don't we just call them what they call themselves - Mujihadeen (Islamic Holy Warriors)? They see this as a holy war, and have the fatwa's to back up their actions (including the killing of hundreds of innocent children).Only when the west begins to see that this "war on terrorism" as a war of culture and values that threatens the very foundation of western civilization will the west begin to make progress. Having worked in Southern Sudan for six years - where I've seen the Mujihadeen demonstrate that they are fully willing to kill any or all "infidels", including the beheading of young infidel children, with the blessings of their clerics and national leaders - I have little patience for the euphemism labelling them "terrorists".
