NY Times Guilty on 9/1/04

My thoughts exactly, re: "They're Terrorists, Not Activists." Had the same thought when I read the caption under a NY Times front page gruesome photo of the recent bus bombing in Beersheba: "Suicide bombers blew up two buses on Tuesday in Beersheba in southern Israel, killing at least 16 people and injuring more than 100 others. The militant Palestinian group Hamas claimed responsibility, calling the blasts retaliation for the assassinations of two of its leaders." I wrote a letter to the editor asking if Hamas is on the US list of terrorist organizations, why can't they write "the terrorist Palestinian group Hamas claimed responsibility."
