in response to reader comment: colonization era

MR Soetero, ever ready to criticise others, writes:

"There was signal in Colonial Office in the past: "Origin people and animal cannot enter"

Could you cite sources? But even if there were - that does not equate 'origin' people as animals. It just means they had a reason not to allow 'origin' people in that establishment. It could be for many reasons. Would you be allowed into a women's club? Most likely there would be a sign saying 'no men allowed'. You could say here is a certain amount of discrimination in a way - but so what? I'm sure there are signs outside Buckingham Palace saying 'general public not allowed ' too. Should I feel discriminated against?

"That was the common practice in all over Asian and African in the colonialization era. And nowadays the master become what so called Human Rigth fighters.... "

Yes - but remember in the not too distant past we had countries where cannibalism and headhunting were common practices too. And countries where the military fires on unarmed civilians.

Times have changed - hopefully.
