Is the World Better Informed so that Daniel Pipes Appears to Have Mellowed?

To quote Ibrahim Hooper as authority for Daniel Pipes' standing in the ideological spectrum is a specious attempt to marginalize Daniel Pipes as is the statement that Daniel Pipes lives in Philadelphia but "is not really of the city."

As an attorney, I think Islam should not be treated as a religion at all since it is church and state in one as was the Catholic Church.

I did appreciate the comment to learn about Daniel Pipes albeit from Mr. Dhume's perspective.
