Does anyone doubt that Atta and his thugs could have easily taken over their plane without the boxcutters they used ?

If the goal is to bring a plane down, starting a fire in the cabin would probably do it. Good thing there are no flammable liquids in there like hard liquors. Or simply open the emergency exits at high altitude.

Screen the people not just the tools of the terrorist trade.

An armed robber is still a robber without his gun.
