Psychological study -- then execution.Reader comment on item: The System "Worked Really Very, Very Smoothly" in Detroit? Submitted by Canaan (United States), Jan 5, 2010 at 02:28 He's certainly an enemy combatant and has no rights other than under the Geneva Convention. But summary execution -- no! He's worth a lot more as a subject for psychological study of the Jihadist mind-warping techniques. Once he's been exhaustively studied by our best psychologists, only then he gets 'pressured' for intelligence, then the needle. With all this screaming for profiling and body scans, let's not forget the basic problem is the suicide bomber, for which there appears to be no solution. How does Al Qaida manufacture these idiots? I don't know. But political correctness cuts both ways. If Israel's or America's actions contributes to suicidal radicalization -- I stress, IF that is true -- then we need to know and understand that psychological fact, even if it makes some people furious to even consider that possibility. Soon enough, these nuts will be sewing nuclear weapons into their underpants. We have that long to find an answer.
