Islam will moderate only when defanged

Islam will never moderate as long as Muslims feel powerful. Power in the Muslim world leads not to moderation and the unwillingness to abuse power, as in the Judeo-Christian ethos, but rather to the unbridled exercise of power be it in expansion or subjugation, or annihilation of the perceived opposition. Ergo, Islam will moderate when it becomes impotent. That sea-change is likely to occur starting mid 2011 when the EV comes to market in serious numbers, first scores of thousands, then hundreds of thousands then millions. When automotive industry makes Oil redundant, thats when mulims, bereft of economic and blackmail power will moderate.
