Interesting how the ancient egyptian concepts for 2 terms are the following:

ka - the word for individual ego

ba - the word for the soul

These are words in ancient egyptian language, and it is interesting to note that muslims circle around the kaaba (circumambulation as you said already).

Another connection is the Islamic belief that Allah will weigh the person's deeds on earth. This is very similar to the ancient Egyptian mysteries as follows:

In the Hall of Two Truths, the deceased's heart was weighed against the Shu feather of truth and justice taken from the headdress of the goddess Ma'at. If the heart was lighter than the feather, they could pass on, but if it were heavier they would be devoured by the demon Ammut. This scene depicts what occurs after a person has died, according to the ancient Egyptians.
