Great Article DanielReader comment on item: Wasted U.S. Spending in Iraq: $53 billion and Counting Submitted by Dillah (United States), Nov 27, 2009 at 05:42 Could not agree with you more. Iraq is a waste of U.S. tax-payers money (no surprise to me). The argument that the Bush administration used for going to war with Iraq (Saddam) was for "keeping America safe" (I remember it well because....) At that time, I pondered the fact that Bush claimed to be a Christian and used such an excuse. So please allow me (as a Christian) to share this thought: Mar 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. The Bush administration created the same kind of government (Islamic) and even went so far as to call Islam "a religion of peace" - ignoring the fact that Islam calls the Son of God an abomination: Koran 019.088 - 019.089 I fear for the future of America for my children.
