ISLAMIC JIHAD SYNDROME

Secular humanists do not distinguish between Christianity and Islam. We hear the constant refrain that "Christianity is just as bad" whenever Islamic Jihad is discussed. This merely adds to confusion and a tendency to dismiss Islamic extremism as just another form of fundamentalism (like those Southern rednecks) and therefore annoying but basically harmless.

It gets even more inane when discussing Major Hasan who is a practising Muslim but also a psychiatrist.

He must have been suffering from stress and the poor guy just "snapped".

Give me a break.
