Mary, It seems he is rushing you. This is my opinion. My husband is Muslim and an Arabic too and I know he has had all the patience in the world on me traveling there twice...postpone for financial reasons, family reasons, and also even with our immigration process. My husband has told me many times he is understanding and is patient and tells me often to remain patient and know he loves me more than anything.
It would send a Red Flag to me with him putting pressure on you and telling you he can't WAIT for you BUT HE LOVES YOU...If He loves you, he will wait as long as it would take.
