Re: BlackamoorsReader comment on item: Aztecs, Moors, and Christians: Festivals of Reconquest in Mexico and Spain Submitted by Shaluh Kufu El (United States), Oct 24, 2009 at 15:28 Peace to all. The word Blackamoor has a similiar meaning as Moor, however the Blackamoor was also used due to the mixing in of specific African stocks with specific Moorish stocks creating the Blackamoor or Negra Mauranos of Spain. The word Blackamoor overall has the same meaning as Moor. Then you have names such as Swartzaneggar which has a very similiar meaning as Blackamoor. The Moors were spread all across Europe and were even present in such places as Russia, Poland, Ireland, Germany, etc. Many documents can be found with a little time, energy and the funding to acquire this information. I would suggest many to research this information and seek out the truth.....Know Thyself.
