We must remember Mr. MacNemi

Mr. MacNemi indeed many Jews have remained faithful for two thousand years as have many Christians. Although imperfect, many Jews and Christians have at their heart the welfare of Israel in mind and indeed since you too profess that desire also, I am thinking we have at least one thing in common.

You are also correct that at the table of YHWH we are but guests and we would be wise to take the seat for the lowliest guest rather than seat ourselves at the table of honor. It was one who was wiser than you or I who taught us that if we come to the table go to the farthest chair so that if we are invited to move closer to the Head Table we will have great joy. On the other hand, if we think of ourselves as deserving the most merit, surely we may be asked to move for a more deserving guest.

We have learned that at the head of the table is YHWH and it is His Will who sits at his right hand and who sits at his left. We should always remember that it is not our will but His.
